La Paz Lodging & Sportfishing Vacations
La Paz is the Spanish word for “The Peace”, and this beautiful, tranquil city, the capital of Baja South, definitely lives up to its name. La Paz, with a population of around 150,000, is a great vacation destination. La Paz has fantastic fishing on the bountiful Sea of Cortez, as well as great scuba, kayaking, sailing, whale watching, hiking, golf, mountain biking, and great ATV tours. La Paz is also home to some of the most pristine white sand beaches in Mexico. Baja eco-tourism is a growing industry with tours and packages exploring the marine, desert, and archeological diversity of La Paz, East Cape, and the Baja Sur area. La Paz has some of the greatest scuba and snorkeling locations in Mexico with an amazing diversity of species. Many visitors have the opportunity to snorkel with the local dolphins and sea lions, an unforgettable experience.
La Paz is also a charming city with wonderful dining, shopping, museums and art galleries, as well as a vibrant night life. A stroll along the Malecon, a sea front walkway, is a wonderful way to soak up local flavor, as well as a great place for people watching, and viewing the spectacular sunsets of La Paz.

La Paz Lodging
We have a charming 2 bedroom home with a large patio and pool, and a one room casita with a patio available for the perfect vacation rental on your La Paz fishing vacation. The main house has a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and utensils, a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a second bedroom with 2 bunk beds, (double on bottom, twin on top). Access to the second bedroom is from the patio only. The casita has a queen sized bed, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, and a washer and dryer. Enjoy the peaceful sunrises, and stunning sunsets from our rooftop patio.
We are located in Comitan, a primarily American and Canadian community across the bay from the city, eleven miles out of town. Comitan is located on the beach, and features two Italian and one Mexican restaurant. In the nearby village of Centenario, there are several more shops and restaurants. When it comes to lodging in La Paz, we believe our vacation home is the best La Paz has to offer. We are located near enough to the city to enjoy all it has to offer, while giving you the chance escape the hustle and bustle and relax in the peace and comfort of our home. |

La Paz Fishing
One of the best reasons to come to La Paz is the outstanding charter fishing. The nutrient rich waters of the Sea of Cortez invites huge numbers of sport fish species, and the great weather of La Paz provides year round fishing opportunities. You won’t find a more experienced charter fishing captain in Baja, Mexico than Captain T.A. “Tat” Tatterson IV of the charter boat Little Sister. The Little Sister has a great crew that all speak English and will ensure you have a great Baja charter fishing experience. |
